Recently The Fraidy Cat Marketer has discovered that he can no longer view websites with a tinyurl.com domain name.
When he clicks on a tinyurl.com link the underlying page does not appear, but a page from ZoneAlarm.com does.
While writing this post Fraidy got this link: http://www.zonealarm.com/security/en/computer-security.htm?cid=W1000281
Fraidy could not find a setting in ZoneAlarm on his desktop to except tinyurl.com, so it must be that all tinyurl.com links will be blocked.
About a week ago a warning page appeared advising caution and that malicious code had been associated with tinyurl.com, but Fraidy could still go to the underlying page and view it.
Now he cannot.
So, if you use tinyurl.com to mask your affiliate links you might want to reconsider this as anyone with a ZoneAlarm firewall may not get your messages.
I wish you well in your Internet marketing efforts.

The Fraidy Cat Marketer wants to know that you, Little Kitten, can comment with good marketing related stuff anytime. "Miaow," to quote my cat Jaffa.
